| Custom 2007 SS Trailblazer HID Headlight Install |
Huge Mahalo to M.I. of Hawaii for the HID install
photo's of his 2007 SS Trailblazer. The 2007
SS Trailblazer (and standard Trailblazers 02 -
07), use 9006 headlight bulbs. M.I. used one of
our 9006 HID conversion kits to make the
upgrade to HID Headlights.
M.I. chose our 8000K Xenon-Blue color option
for his kit. He reports that installation of the kit
itself was simple but that gaining access to the
rear of the trailblazer's headlights for the
custom install required some patience.

The grill on the trailblazer was removed in order to gain
good access to the rear of the headlights. There were 11
clips that needed to be removed for custom placement of
kit components. The photo at left illustrates where these
pins are located.

M.I. took the extra step of protecting the bumper cover with masking tape before removing the headlights.
NOTE: These photos illustrate the steps that a Plasma Garage customer took for successful installation of our 9006 HID Conversion kit.
Metal clips lock the trailblazer headlight assemblies in place.
When all clips are removed, unplug the light harnesses as shown below in order to completely remove the headlight assembly.
Locate the low beam bulb and remove the rubber dust cap to remove the stock bulb and install the HID bulbs.
The 9006 HID bulbs will install and fit snug in the exact
manner that the stock headlight bulbs come out. Once
the new HID bulbs are in place, plug the vehicles male, low-
beam bulb harness into the blue female HID bulb harness
shown in the photo below.

Locate a safe place for the ballasts. For this custom install, M.I. used the kit-supplied brackets and nylon zip-ties.
