Standard H4 Bulb Design:
The standard halogen 9003 / H4 bulb
contains two filaments. One filament is
used for the low beam, and a second
filament is used to produce the high beam.
Therefore, by design, H4 dual beam
function in a standard bulb is only emitted
from one pair of bulbs. (Non-H4 vehicles
commonly use 4 bulbs - 2 high beam and
2 low beam).
H4 Bi-Xenon HID Bulb Design:
In contrast to standard (halogen based)
light bulbs, High Intensity Discharge light
bulbs do not use filaments at all. Instead,
Xenon lighting is created by igniting a
capsule of sealed Xenon gas with an "arc"
of electricity between two electrodes. The
result is a 300% brighter light bulb, but
one that is NOT CAPABLE of dual beam
function. In order for H4 dual beam HID
bulbs to produce a high and low beam, the
H4 HID bulb must move, or incorporate
other refractory innovations into the
design.
Our H4 Bi-Xenon product uses design
improvements that shrink the size of
previous H4 Dual beam HID bulbs. With
exception to the inexpensive dust cap
used on the back of the H4 headlamp
assembly, our dual beam HID bulb design
requires no permanent modification to
your vehicle, and plug-in wiring allows for
easy removal for future use with other H4
Headlamp vehicles.
(Our other HID bulbs: H1, H3, H7, H11,
9005, 9006, or 9007 can also be used with
this system)
Lastly, the new Bi-Xenon bulb incorporates
adaptable plug-in style wiring for universal
application across all vehicles with H4
Headlamp bulbs.

is recommended. H4 Bi-Xenon conversion kits
(at right) are newly redesigned for compact
performance and reliability. Bi-xenon bulbs
alone will not function.

Single Beam HID Kit (with COMPATIBLE ballasts)
Our H4 bi-xenon HID Bulbs / bi-xenon bulbs are
compatible with ballasts made by Eagleye, Hella &
Phillips amongst some others. If you have a single
beam HID kit, you might be able to upgrade your
vehicle to bi-xenon. To be sure of your ballast's plug
compatibility, view our plugs here for comparison.
Our H4 bi-xenon HID Bulbs / bi-xenon bulbs are
compatible with ballasts made by Eagleye, Hella &
Phillips amongst some others. If you have a single
beam HID kit, you might be able to upgrade your
